Most of the guys at the shoot still like to roll them up - but I will leave that up to you. The leg is still nice and trim with that 7" inseam that should hit about 1" above your knee. it was a small change but it made the shorts look more modern. I made one other important adjustment to make these shorts even better. You will notice that this short is much less 'stiff & pressed' compared to the style I made last season. This process brings out the natural characteristics of the fabric, adding a small degree of 'rumpling' which I found to be much, much cooler - so I ran with it. I preserved the streamlined, polished look but added a garment wash to beat the fabric up a little. A GREAT FIT: When working on this year's short, I took last year's model & tried to make it just a little cooler. That little bit of stretch makes a huge difference, they are so comfortable! To construct these shorts, I used a sweet, 8 ounce twill with 5% stretch. TOP OF THE LINE FABRIC: It really does start with fabric, there can be no compromising on quality here. ![]() I really enjoy having a personal relationship with the people who help bring my ideas to life. ![]() It is extremely important for me to keep things as close to home as I can. MADE IN USA: The Blade + Blue shorts are made in limited runs right here in the the Bay Area of California.
